To Blog or Not to Blog, That’s The Question

Starting a blog is one the most popular ways to share ideas, stories, expertise, your voice, and knowledge online. With millions of blog posts are added every single, this attests to the fact that blogs are important. In addition to this is important to mention the myriads of people who also consume information online.

People go online looking for information on various topics and aspects of life, topics that range from health, money, relationships, wealth, headaches, cars, technology, food, fashion, computers, gardening, woodwork, to topics such as purpose, human identity, human potential, and personal development. And the list goes on.

Perhaps you are still dealing with the question whether you should blog or not. The fact is that if you have something to share with the world, starting a blog is one of the most effective ways to make a difference. And you do not have to be an expert to make a difference and an impact in the world.

If you have knowledge of some sort, if you have gone through experiences in life, if you ha a passion, or interest in something, then you have something to share. You owe it to yourself and to the world you live in, to contribute and make a difference.

You Should Not Leave The World  in The  Same Way You Found

W all owe to ourselves and to the future of humanity to leave a dent in the world. After all this was one of the mottos of the iconic Steve Jobs. You should as well ask a question to yourself, what contribution are you going to give to the world? We are all in debt with the world that saw us come and  welcomed us with open arms.

In spite of the adversities and the challenges that you may go through and that you witness in your surroundings, that does not mean that you cannot do anything. We all can, you can, in your own unique way you can do something. And you should make the decision that you are going to do something before you leave this planet.

Getting Rid of Excuses

When it comes to blogging or sharing ideas with the world through blogging there are some common excuses that people often make. Excuses such as, I’m not expert enough, i do not know what to share, i can’t write, nobody will read my stuff, nobody will listen to me, who am i to have a blog, who am i for people to listen to me, i have noting to share, i do not know what my passion is, and the list goes on. And you can add your own to this list.

The truth is that those are all excuses that you are giving, none of those is true. And i challenge you think deeply about the excuses that you give not to do what matters. It is time you begin to silence those voices behind you telling all sort of things to hinder you from moving.

Dealing With Inertia

When we sit and do nothing we are under a force that is commonly known has the state of inertia of rest. This is a state that makes us stay in our comfort zone doing nothing and bemoaning everything and everybody. My question to you is instead of bemoaning why don’t you do something about it? It is better to act than just sit and do nothing.

The world will not respect you for your bemoaning and criticism, if you have an issue with the state of affairs, then do something about it. There is a reason that bothers you, it is because it matters to you, and if it matters to you then it is your responsibility to do something about it.

So get up and do something about it. And one the ways you can do it is through blogging. Imagine the number of people who use the internet on a daily basis from all over the world. Your possibility to make an impact to the world is massive. You can become a world Changer from the comfort of your house, by just spending a few hour per day and share what matters most to you.

What Matters to You

We all have something that matters to us. The Bible says Where your treasure is, there your heart will be. That simple means that you treasure, and value the things that matter most to you. If it matters to you it is because you value it, and if you value it, is because it’s important to you. So what matters to you?

What are the things that you value most in your life. Is it health, politics, poverty, finances, time, soul winning (if you are a Christian this should matter to you), the environment, water quality, abused women, children, music, pastor a church, social justice/injustice.

Please think about this seriously because there is something that matters to you and do not believe the lie that says that you do not know. The truth is that you know it, you just are not aware of it yet. Coming to the state of awareness is where you should start from.

A Few Questions You Should Ask Yourself

We are all searching for answers of some sort. And the key to find the answers that we are looking for is to ask the right questions. If we ask the wrong questions we will get the wrong answers, so the key is not just asking. The question is, what is the quality of the questions that you are asking? That is, if you are asking at all, and i believe that you are.

Because at some stage in our lives we all start looking for answers to the various aspects of life. And we do this on a regular basis, perhaps more often than we even think. And if you are asking questions it’s because that very thing that you are asking is important to you.

If you want to come to the state of awareness of what matters to you, then you have to start asking. Lets have a look at a few things that you should ask yourself.

  • What makes you angry?
  • What makes you happy?
  • What bothers you?
  • What is important to you?
  • What makes you cry?
  • What do you like talking about the most?
  • What do you like reading?
  • What programs do you like to watch?
  • What apps do you use the most?
  • And why?

You see as you begin to answer the questions above, add an why to. If you ask what makes you cry? You should also ask why does this makes me cry? The secret is in the questions that you ask to yourself, and not the questions you ask to others.

I hope that you will begin to see the light and embark on a journey that will enable you to find out your true self and be able to share what is valuable to you with the world. We are all waiting for your manifestation, i am waiting to you hear from you. What are you going to say and do?

What if…

What if because of your obedience little child found hope, when hope was in shortage. What if that teenage girl on the verge of committing suicide, stopped it because she heard you. What if that young man who was engulfed in drug addiction found freedom because you decided to help. What if that abused woman was healed from her inner wounds because you spoke. What if you decided to obey. What if…

I hope this article was helpful to inspire you to take action and do something about what matters to you. We are all here to change the world and do something that matters. So it’s your turn, go on and do something that we all will be proud of and generations to come will still be talking about it.
